Small holder farmers are the main partner of the company. The company works closely with small holder farmers, developing agricultural practices and product quality, opening export markets for their products.
According to the strategy of Tanzanice Agrofoods LTD, the co-operation with small farmers have to be a win-win situation, benefiting all stakeholders.
Feed the Future
Tanzanice Agrofoods LTD is a partner in “Feed the Future” program, which is a U.S. Government’s global hunger and food security initiative, addressing the root causes of poverty, hunger and malnutrition and transforming lives.
During 2018-2020, the company will train 1500 small holder potato farmers with good agricultural practices, establish demonstration and piloting for new high yield potato varieties, and develop a certified seed potato contract farming structure.
Luonnosta Oy
Through Finnish sister company Luonnosta Oy Tanzanice Agrofoods LTD has opened marketing channels to over 20 European countries. New high value horticulture products are under test program.
COLEACP
The Europe-Africa-Caribbean-Pacific Liaison Committee (COLEACP) is a civil society organisation (CSO) established in 1973 whose main purpose is to support the development of a sustainable and competitive agriculture and agribusiness.
COLEACP has partnered with Tanzanice Agrofoods LTD to train and certify Tanzanian small holder farmers in order to open the global export markets for their products.
